What you will do

• Write and execute queries to test, validate, and reconcile data across systems.
• Perform detailed data reconciliation between internal platforms and vendor solutions.
• Analyze large datasets supporting tax reporting and cost basis outputs.
• Investigate data issues, identify root causes, and support remediation efforts.
• Build targeted in-house tools or automation to improve data quality and efficiency.
• Support data conversion and testing phases during system implementations.
• Partner closely with business teams throughout testing and delivery cycles.

Requirements

• W2 contract position only; no C2C or 1099
• Strong data engineering or data validation background
• Advanced SQL experience required; Oracle exposure is a plus
• Experience with data testing, reconciliation, or system implementation support
• Exposure to tax reporting, cost basis, or regulatory data preferred
• Comfortable working in high-accuracy, regulatory-sensitive environments

Nice to have

• Experience with tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Python, or Power Apps
