What you will do

• Manage and provide technical direction to a team of approximately five developers, conducting code reviews and establishing standards.
• Oversee the design, development, maintenance, and modernization of a portfolio of eHR and clinical software applications.
• Serve as the lead solution architect, designing system architecture and recommending new technologies and frameworks.
• Coordinate the technical migration of legacy systems and custom solutions to shared service platforms.
• Collaborate with Program Managers and stakeholders to align technical delivery with mission-critical research and clinical objectives.
• Ensure all solutions are scalable, maintainable, and compatible with emerging infrastructure.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C#.
• Demonstrated experience in biomedical, bioinformatics, or clinical software domains.
• Proficiency with SQL Server or Oracle and experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, CDISC, and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Knowledge of federal health IT security standards including FISMA, HIPAA, and NIST 800-53.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum development frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or CRIS platforms.
• Cloud deployment experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS, using Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipeline management via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (.NET, Power Platform Developer, or M365 Developer) or SharePoint Online certification.
