Rigging Artist (Gamedev)

TL;DR

Location: Remote from the province of Quebec, or Hybrid/Onsite in Montréal. Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or holder of an open work permit).

What you will do

• Create and maintain complex rigs and skins using Maya
• Collaborate with animation and modeling teams to ensure optimal rigging results
• Contribute to the optimization of the rigging production pipeline
• Deliver high-quality work within strict project deadlines and technical requirements
• Solve complex technical problems proactively to improve overall quality

Requirements

• 3 to 8 years of rigging experience in the 3D animation or video game industry
• Proficiency with Maya, Python, and the Mgear tool
• Experience with Unreal Engine and its dynamic tools (Ragdoll)
• Strong knowledge of anatomy (facial, body, quadrupedal) and mechanical systems
• Relevant college or university education in 3D animation, multimedia, or programming
• Must be eligible to work in Canada

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Vetala plugin
• Experience in animation
