What you will do

• Own the creative and editorial strategy for cheer and dance across social, video, and written platforms.
• Lead and manage a team of content creators, mentoring them and overseeing their daily output.
• Develop content plans around major events, leagues, and moments (All Star, college, youth, professional).
• Drive social-first content creation with a strong emphasis on short-form video and social monetization.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, partnerships, sales) and external partners like Varsity.
• Edit content for clarity, accuracy, and quality while acting as a player-coach by creating content when needed.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of cheer and dance culture, leagues, and storylines.
• Experience managing content creators within digital or sports media.
• Strong background in social media content strategy, specifically regarding video and monetization.
• Proven ability to use analytics to inform editorial and content decisions.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, live-events-driven environment.
• Must be based in Austin, TX for hybrid work.
