Government Grants Specialist (Healthcare Software)

Location: Remote, based in South Africa or the Philippines

Salary: $250–$400 per month for 10 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing to 20 hours per week

What you will do

• Research and identify relevant government grant opportunities in the US and Canada.
• Manage grant applications from opportunity discovery through preparation and submission.
• Write high-quality proposals aligned with business and product development objectives.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect required information and documentation.
• Maintain records of applications, deadlines, outcomes, grant pipelines, and success rates.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements and use Xero and Pluto for tracking and reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience securing government grants in Canada and/or the US.
• Strong writing and proposal development skills.
• Excellent research, organization, communication, and deadline-management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and take ownership of tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or healthcare software.
• Familiarity with Xero, Pluto, or similar financial and operational tools.
• Experience working in a remote, fast-paced environment.
