What you will do

• Develop comprehensive aircraft-level loads for UAV systems, including maneuver, gust, ground, and propulsion-induced loads.
• Translate mission profiles and operational scenarios into design loads in collaboration with Flight Mechanics and Aerodynamics teams.
• Establish and document loads methodologies using empirical data, analytical models, and hand methods.
• Perform numerical loads analysis using first-principles calculations and FEM tools for load extraction and distribution.
• Lead multidisciplinary integration to align loads with mass properties, control laws, and structural layouts.
• Drive technical resolution of conflicting inputs and continuously refine internal engineering templates and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Master's or PhD preferred).
• Strong expertise in aircraft loads development, including maneuver, gust, and ground loads.
• Solid understanding of rigid-body dynamics, inertia effects, and structural interaction.
• Proficiency with analytical tools (Python, MATLAB, Excel) and FEM software (ANSYS, NASTRAN, Abaqus).
• Familiarity with aerospace standards such as EASA, FAA, or MIL-STD.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Nice to have

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• Experience contributing to internal engineering methods, tools, or processes.
