What you will do

• Oversee the full lifecycle of mandatory, voluntary, and mandatory-with-choice corporate actions across equities and fixed income.
• Review and challenge custodian notifications, elections, and outcomes to ensure alignment with investment intent and fund documentation.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve corporate action exceptions, missed elections, and income discrepancies.
• Monitor service provider performance using MI, KPIs, and SLA metrics, leading resolution for systemic issues.
• Assess corporate action control effectiveness and identify emerging operational risks.
• Partner with Trade Services, Cash Oversight, and Fund Oversight teams to maintain consistent governance.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing, or Investment Operations.
• Strong hands-on understanding of event types, elections, entitlements, and settlement impacts.
• Proven experience overseeing custodians, agents, or other financial service providers.
• Ability to assess operational risk and manage high-impact exceptions.
• Must be based in the US to support a hybrid work model in Chicago.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and escalation.

• Experience with complex events such as bankruptcies, restructurings, and tender offers.
