What you will do

• Design and deploy deep learning models for camera-based perception, including object detection, segmentation, and depth estimation.
• Own end-to-end model development from data curation and training to evaluation and production deployment.
• Write production-quality ML code to support scalable training and inference pipelines.
• Analyze model performance across diverse driving scenarios to identify failure modes and improve generalization.
• Partner with data teams to optimize labeling strategies and ensure coverage of edge cases.
• Mentor junior engineers on implementation, debugging, and ML best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or ML with industry experience (6+ years for BS, 3+ years for MS, 1+ year for PhD).
• Experience developing and deploying deep learning models for computer vision or perception systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python and PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of CNNs, transformers, and multi-task model architectures.
• Experience training and evaluating models using large-scale datasets and distributed compute environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in autonomous driving, robotics, or simulation-based ML systems.
• Familiarity with 3D perception (BEV, monocular depth, structure-from-motion).
• Experience with large-scale data pipelines or distributed training systems like Ray.
• Experience with multi-task learning or unified perception architectures.
