What you will do

• Provide technical support for software and hardware issues encountered by the autonomous vehicle fleet in the field.
• Perform root cause analysis for common software and hardware faults across multiple evolving platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to improve performance and maximize test efficiency.
• Triage vehicle issues by providing data and analysis to determine corrective actions.
• Create runbooks to standardize and accelerate the troubleshooting process.
• Perform sensor calibrations, fleet upgrades, and new platform bring-ups.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with the Linux Operating System in a support and troubleshooting capacity.
• Experience working with complex hardware and software systems, including lidar, radar, cameras, and computers.
• Must be based in Dallas, Texas to support the third shift (6 PM - 4 AM CST).
• Strong communication and documentation skills to coordinate across different teams and time zones.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related STEM field.
• Previous automotive or autonomous vehicle (AV) technical experience.
• Deep understanding of computer networking systems.
• Programming skills in Python, Go, C++, or SQL.
