What you will do
- Define and lead the end-to-end institutional strategy for Optimism, acting as a General Manager for this segment.
- Source, structure, and close high-impact partnerships with global institutions.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence the roadmap based on market feedback.
- Represent Optimism at industry events, conferences, and global policy forums.
- Publish thought leadership on programmable money and payments infrastructure.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales with a proven track record of closing complex institutional deals.
- Deep understanding of fintech infrastructure, including wallets, custody, stablecoins, and compliance tooling.
- Familiarity with crypto infrastructure, specifically Ethereum, Layer 2s, and wallet abstraction.
- Ability to interface with C-level stakeholders and navigate multi-party partnerships.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid from the New York office.
Nice to have
- Experience building 0→1 partnerships and GTM strategies with minimal oversight.
- Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
