What you will do

• Design, prototype, and implement features and tools for the Vault ecosystem ensuring stability and usability.
• Lead and execute large-scale project lifecycles from architecture design through full implementation.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Golang development and drive end-to-end quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product Design and Product Management to align solutions with customer needs.
• Mentor software engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote development best practices.
• Support production environments, including participation in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Go with a track record of production-grade applications.
• Experience with Linux, bash scripting, and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Cloud-native mindset and solid understanding of DevOps principles.
• Must have the ability to work without current or future visa sponsorship

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience using other HashiCorp products (Packer, Nomad, Consul, Boundary).
