What you will do

• Build and maintain software applications within a suite of enterprise products.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to efficiently utilize and scale commercial LLM APIs.
• Drive architecture and cloud-engineering decisions for a serverless AWS platform.
• Develop and optimize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) stacks, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
• Mentor junior team members and improve internal developer workflows and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the entire application stack and lead incident response efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a tech lead, architecture lead, or management role.
• Proficiency with Python and experience building cloud-native applications using AWS serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Deep understanding of Git, Postgres, CloudFormation/SAM, and RESTful API design.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience building applications on top of LLMs using commercial APIs.
• Familiarity with Python data science libraries (numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, pandas).
• Expertise in Postgres query optimization and database indexing.
• Interest in application and cloud security.
