What you will do

• Build and deliver solutions to improve cloud services, infrastructure, and tools.
• Solve infrastructure problems using a software-driven, cloud-first approach with a focus on quality and repeatability.
• Implement product roadmaps and objectives focusing on service delivery and reliability.
• Contribute to the development of engineering standards and best practices within the team.
• Identify and drive down operational toil through creative innovation and automation.
• Perform stand-by, on-call, and off-hours duties.

Requirements

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript in a Linux/Mac environment.
• Significant experience building and deploying infrastructure in public clouds using Terraform.
• Experience with large-scale, highly available distributed systems and SaaS platforms.
• Solid understanding of API-driven solutions used to abstract infrastructure details.
• Experience scaling and deploying Linux-based systems.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Cloud and application security.
• Strong knowledge of cloud design patterns for scale, data management, and resiliency.
• Experience with dashboards, metrics, and SLOs.
