What you will do

• Provide day-to-day oversight of mandatory, voluntary, and mandatory-with-choice corporate actions across various asset classes.
• Manage the corporate action lifecycle from announcement through election, entitlement, settlement, and post-event reconciliation.
• Investigate income exceptions, missed elections, late notifications, and failed postings, performing root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Monitor and challenge service provider performance (custodians and administrators) using KPIs and SLA metrics.
• Assess corporate action control effectiveness and identify emerging operational risks to ensure audit-readiness.
• Collaborate with Trade Services, Cash Oversight, and Fund Oversight teams to maintain consistent governance.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing, or Investment Operations within an asset manager or custody environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate action event types, elections, entitlements, and settlement impacts.
• Experience overseeing or interacting with custodians, agents, or other service providers.
• Ability to assess operational risk and manage high-impact exceptions independently.
• Location: Must be based in Chicago for onsite work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and escalation.
