What you will do

• Lead the development of the DIGI-ADAPT AI-platform in coordination with software engineers and the project consortium.
• Implement a user-friendly geoportal to visualize coastal risk and socio-economic values.
• Ensure compatibility of the platform with European digital climate initiatives.
• Organize workshops and coordinate stakeholder engagement, including regular meetings and presentations.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary international team of scientists, engineers, and policy experts.

Requirements

• PhD degree in Computer Science, Hydro-informatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in data management, software development, and model-data interoperability.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, and PyTorch.
• Proven experience in writing scientific publications and technical communications.
• Excellent command of English (oral and written).
• Willingness and ability to relocate to the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Strong interest or practical knowledge of digital platforms, AI, and geo-portals.
• Experience working in international, multidisciplinary collaborations.
