What you will do
- Lead the development of the DIGI-ADAPT AI-platform in coordination with software engineers and the project consortium.
- Implement a user-friendly geoportal to visualize coastal risk and socio-economic values.
- Ensure compatibility of the platform with European digital climate initiatives.
- Organize workshops and coordinate stakeholder engagement, including regular meetings and presentations.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary international team of scientists, engineers, and policy experts.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Hydro-informatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in data management, software development, and model-data interoperability.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, and PyTorch.
- Proven experience in writing scientific publications and technical communications.
- Excellent command of English (oral and written).
- Willingness and ability to relocate to the Netherlands.
Nice to have
- Strong interest or practical knowledge of digital platforms, AI, and geo-portals.
- Experience working in international, multidisciplinary collaborations.
