What you will do

• Redesign and restructure the internal RescueNet hub to create a clear and intuitive resource center for METAL tools and guidance.
• Consolidate MEAL and Technology for Programs strategies into a single, unified METAL Communications Strategy.
• Develop and launch an external-facing webpage showcasing IRC’s program-led technology and data approach for donors and peers.
• Produce high-quality impact stories, thought leadership content, and recurring internal communications products.
• Coordinate and facilitate recurring meetings and the MEAL Community of Practice, including agenda planning and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience leading internal communications strategies within complex, global organizations.
• Strong background in knowledge management, intranet redesign, or information architecture.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate technical content into engaging language.
• Familiarity with monitoring, evaluation, learning (MEAL), data, and technology concepts in humanitarian contexts.
• Fluency in English.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with program technology or digital tools in humanitarian settings.
• External or donor-facing communications experience.
• Graphic design skills for visual communications.
• Additional language skills in French, Spanish, or Arabic.
