Location: Hybrid (London, Birmingham, or Edinburgh). Must be based in the UK and spend at least two days per week (40% of time) at an office site.

What you will do

• Develop the strategic approach for economic crime prevention (ECP) across the wider Group.
• Collaborate with the Digital Assets Lab and 2LOD teams to analyze risks associated with digital wallets, tokenized deposits, and stablecoins.
• Identify and implement necessary controls, process changes, and operating models to enable scale-up.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide pragmatic advice and guide the development of the control environment.
• Update internal policies, standards, and methodologies (e.g., BECRA and CRA) to support digital asset participation.
• Implement blockchain monitoring technologies and frameworks for economic crime investigations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Economic Crime Prevention within complex financial services environments.
• Expert knowledge of AML, Sanctions, and fraud risk, including regulatory expectations and control design.
• Proven experience influencing risk frameworks, policies, or control environments.
• Ability to partner with senior leaders and provide clear, pragmatic advice.
• Must be based in the UK to fulfill hybrid office attendance requirements.

• Knowledge of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and tokenization.

• Experience with payments, settlement, and PSO frameworks.
