What you will do

• Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling through individual and group sessions.
• Develop and revise comprehensive patient treatment plans and maintain detailed clinical records.
• Perform intake and readmission services, providing supportive follow-up counseling.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with community providers.
• Ensure adherence to program policies and all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
• Orient patients to treatment program operations and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field required.
• Must be a licensed or certified CSC-AD, CAC-AD, CADC, or ADT in the state of Maryland.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues with proper judgment.
• Ability to react quickly and make effective decisions in stressful situations.
• Knowledge of substance abuse populations and treatment planning.
