What you will do

  • Act as the primary Compliance contact for Digital Assets in the Americas, assessing on-chain and transaction-related risks.
  • Advise on the digital asset and DLT product lifecycle, focusing on tokenized capital markets and digital money solutions.
  • Monitor and translate US and global regulatory developments into actionable compliance frameworks.
  • Design and manage risk and compliance controls for new blockchain-based products and technologies.
  • Lead responses to regulatory exams, audits, and remediation efforts as the primary escalation point.
  • Coordinate cross-border regulatory responses with EMEA and APAC teams.

Requirements

  • Must be based in New York, NY
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a core Compliance function within a Tier-1 Bank or Broker-Dealer.
  • Proven track record in Digital Assets Compliance with a strong technical understanding of blockchain, tokenization, and on-chain activities.
  • Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Technology, Law, or Juris Doctor strongly preferred).
  • Experience with SEC and CFTC rulemaking, FINRA guidance, and global frameworks like MiCA or FATF.

Nice to have

  • Advanced regulatory certifications such as CAMS or CRCM.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard blockchain analytics and surveillance tools.
