What you will do

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, gathering requirements and identifying network improvement opportunities.
• Conduct whiteboard architectural reviews and product presentations for Open Networking, Cognitive Campus, and CloudVision solutions.
• Design scalable leaf-spine network architectures utilizing VxLAN and EVPN to improve performance and efficiency.
• Perform hands-on testing of customer proof-of-concept (PoC) setups and network deployments.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and sales teams to respond to RFPs/RFQs.
• Provide technical feedback to Product Management and Engineering to shape future product development.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in L2/L3 networking design for Data Center, Campus, and Wi-Fi solutions.
• Expertise in routing and switching, including L2/L3 protocols and overlay technologies like VxLAN.
• Current hands-on experience designing highly scalable leaf-spine network architectures.
• Deep knowledge of Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and QoS.
• Must be local to the Tampa area.

Nice to have

• Network Industry Certifications such as ACE-L4, ACE-L6, or ACE-L7.
• Experience building network automation using Python and Ansible.
• Strong writing skills for authoring technical white papers.
• Knowledge of competitor landscapes, specifically Cisco and Juniper.
