TL;DR

Controller (Finance (Manufacturing)): Leading and coordinating the North America finance function for a manufacturing organization with an accent on accounting operations, cost accounting, and financial reporting. Focus on overseeing month-end and year-end close processes, managing cash flow, and ensuring GAAP compliance.

Location: On-site, 5 days per week in Sparta, Wisconsin

Salary: Up to $165,000 per annum

A manufacturing organization with annual revenues between $40M and $50M.

What you will do

• Supervise the finance team and oversee all accounting operations and financial data processing.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and the financial statement audit process.
• Manage cash flow, foreign currency transactions, and accounts receivable.
• Oversee inventory control procedures and prepare annual budgets for the parent company.
• Produce statutory financial reports, NAFTA-related filings, and operational reports.
• Analyze financial data and assist in the development of organizational KPIs.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience as a Controller handling full accounting records.
• 2–3 years of Cost Accounting experience and 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Sparta, Wisconsin.
