What you will do

• Respond to operational support requests in a 24/5 environment, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Troubleshoot Linux-based hardware systems using terminal-based tools for issues beyond documented workflows.
• Identify recurring operational issues and partner with engineering teams to stabilize support workflows.
• Create and maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and internal documentation.
• Develop lightweight scripts or basic automation to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Facilitate the transition of operational support workloads from engineering groups to the fleet operations team.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience supporting or troubleshooting Linux-based systems.
• Experience in technical support, operations, or IT service delivery roles.
• Proficiency in working within Linux terminal environments.
• Experience following and improving runbooks and operational processes.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow.
• Must be based in Aliso Viejo, CA (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Basic scripting or automation skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Foundational knowledge of IT support, including systems and basic networking (Network+ level or equivalent).
