What you will do

• Build and maintain customer-facing interfaces for the hirify.global platform.
• Analyze the Kafka API to achieve and maintain feature parity.
• Implement critical security and access control functions for enterprise customers.
• Enhance overall system performance and user experience.
• Develop new capabilities tailored to the needs of large enterprise clients.
• Ensure core tenets of operational simplicity, no data loss, and high speed while scaling the product.

Requirements

• 5+ years of substantial experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in C++ (ideally C++17 or C++20), Rust, or other systems languages.
• Experience with profiling and benchmarking.
• Excellent written communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be based in Poland, United Kingdom, Canada, or the United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of auth protocols such as OAuth (OpenID), Kerberos, SASL, LDAP, SCRAM, or TLS.
• Experience developing high-throughput real-time distributed platforms.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and systems maintenance.
• Experience with metrics development using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Background in developing open source software or data streaming applications.
