What you will do
- Administer and operate Red Hat OpenShift platforms across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Manage Kubernetes objects and cluster resources, including pods, namespaces, services, ingress, and networking.
- Deploy and support containerized applications through CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
- Perform cluster installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, security hardening, and lifecycle management.
- Monitor, log, and troubleshoot production environments while resolving incidents under service-level agreements.
- Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to support business-critical applications.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience administering container platforms or Kubernetes-based environments.
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift deployments across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes objects, networking, container lifecycle management, and cluster operations.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and infrastructure integrations such as VMware, storage, networks, and load balancers.
- Experience with Ansible, YAML, GitOps, security, patching, and production operations.
- Intermediate English proficiency is required for collaboration with global teams and documentation.
Nice to have
- EX280: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration certification.
- Experience in large-scale, enterprise, or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with RBAC, certificates, secrets, security policies, and cluster networking.
- Experience working with DevOps and SRE teams and familiarity with IT service management practices.
