Salary: $228,000—$285,000 USD (Tier 1 markets)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the core narrative and messaging framework for consistency across all public channels.
• Manage the PR agency relationship, setting strategy and ensuring measurable outcomes.
• Lead proactive media engagement, including executive profiles and company announcements.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide media training and talking points for external engagements.
• Act as the primary lead for communications during sensitive or high-stakes situations.
• Monitor fintech and consumer finance trends to identify opportunities for shaping industry conversation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of communications experience, specifically within fintech or highly regulated consumer industries.
• Proven track record of managing PR agencies and driving strategic results.
• Experience navigating adversarial or high-stakes media environments.
• Ability to serve as a credible public spokesperson on record and on camera.
• Skill in translating complex financial products into clear, human-centric narratives.
• Must be based in the United States.
