Salary: $53,908 - $65,000

What you will do

• Maintain and enhance backend services using Node.js, Express, Python, and FastAPI on AWS.
• Develop responsive and accessible frontend interfaces with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Work with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB, and S3 for data storage and workflows.
• Implement and grow automated test coverage using Jest, Pytest, and Cypress.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and CI/CD via GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and agency stakeholders to represent engineering decisions.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
• Exposure to REST APIs, Git-based workflows, and cloud services (AWS preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Terraform, GitHub Actions, or AWS Lambda.
• Must reside in one of the 16 approved US states.
• Awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG, USWDS).
