Fullstack Engineer (C2H)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (C2H): Build and support both backend services and frontend interfaces that power the EMPACT immersive learning platform with an accent on full development lifecycle, from architecture and API design to UI implementation, integration, testing, and optimization. Focus on ensuring seamless experience across backend systems, real-time training content, and immersive learning environments.

Location: Remote. Must be authorized to work in the United States. No visa sponsorship available.

Salary: 35 - 45 USD per hour

What you will do

• Own features from idea through release and iteration in short cycles
• Build and maintain fullstack features including APIs, services, data models, user-facing components, dashboards, and tools
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Content, DevOps, and Cybersecurity teams
• Ensure systems work smoothly across web and immersive environments
• Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and deployment
• Improve performance, architecture, code quality, and stay current with technologies including AI-assisted development

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of full stack development experience
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience building production systems used by customers
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Experience with backend language (Node.js, Python, C#, Java), REST/GraphQL APIs, React or similar, databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase), cloud (AWS/Azure), CI/CD
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and understanding of authentication systems
• Actively use AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Copilot) in workflow for development, debugging, and design

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D/real-time systems (Unreal Engine), LMS platforms, dashboards, event-driven systems
• Knowledge of secure practices (CMMC, NIST), Docker, Kubernetes
