Brand Lead (Defense)

What you will do

• Translate complex technical and sensitive defense subject matter into clear, compelling visual content.
• Execute conceptually strong corporate communications campaigns and develop visual identities.
• Create static and motion design assets, multimedia content, and web experiences.
• Provide strategic counsel to the Head of Marketing and other key business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems for the brand.

Requirements

• 8+ years of marketing and design experience, preferably in national security, defense, or government contracting.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Familiarity with Section 508 compliance and accessibility standards.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with UX/UI design fundamentals and digital experience best practices.
• Experience with AI-enabled workflows.
• Prior experience supporting federal IT modernization programs.
