What you will do

• Lead the architectural design of complex, distributed software systems to ensure high availability and performance.
• Define and enforce technical standards, architectural patterns, and security guidelines across engineering teams.
• Evaluate and select technology stacks, frameworks, and tools, balancing innovation with long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and roadmaps.
• Design APIs and event-driven interfaces for seamless communication between microservices and partner systems.
• Champion non-functional requirements including observability, reliability, and disaster recovery.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years as a System Architect or Technical Lead.
• Proven experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Deep expertise in microservices architectures, Kubernetes, and inter-service communication patterns.
• Strong experience with high-throughput data pipelines and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Demonstrated ability to architect systems with security-by-design, including IAM and data encryption.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or C#/.NET.

Nice to have

• Experience architecting systems for AI/ML workloads, including LLM-based applications and vector databases.
• Mastery of architectural design patterns such as CQRS, Event Sourcing, Saga, and Strangler Fig.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Ability to create architectural diagrams using the C4 model.
• Experience using modern AI tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot for prototyping.
