What you will do

• Drive discovery, experimentation, and delivery to take Syft from concept to product-market fit.
• Conduct user research and go-to-market experiments to uncover workflows and pain points.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to define, build, and iterate on technical products for private data collaboration.
• Translate complex systems like privacy-preserving computations, federated architectures, and LLM connectors into user experiences.
• Monitor privacy, AI, and data collaboration landscapes to anticipate technology and regulation shifts.
• Prototype flows, fix bugs, or code to accelerate learning and momentum.
• Define key metrics from activation to retention and align distributed team on priorities.
• Champion user voice and engage with policy communities for responsible adoption.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships to accelerate the mission.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience building or scaling technical products in ambiguous environments.
• Strong technical foundation with coding experience and ability to reason about distributed systems, privacy technologies, and AI.
• Bridge research and implementation, turning technical possibilities into product directions; curiosity about secure computation, RAG, mixture of experts.
• Thrive in ambiguity, create structure, and bring clarity to complexity.
• Hands-on with code: read PRs, debug, prototype to move faster.
• Exceptional communicator to align distributed teams and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
• Mission-driven mindset excited by unlocking non-public data responsibly.

• Experience in early-stage or research-to-product environments.
• Experience as data scientist or building for data scientists (Colab, Jupyter).
