What you will do

• Design and implement a data quality framework across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, defining validation rules and alerting standards.
• Build and maintain automated data quality checks within Databricks pipelines, including row counts, null checks, and schema validation.
• Own reconciliation between source systems and Databricks layers to ensure accurate data landing and transformation.
• Validate identity resolution outputs in the Silver layer by reviewing match rates and investigating false positives/negatives.
• Perform end-to-end pipeline testing to validate data flow from ingestion to downstream reporting.
• Partner with Data Engineers to define acceptance criteria and support UAT with client business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Engineering, or Data Analysis roles.
• Experience with Azure-based data platforms and Databricks.
• Strong SQL skills and experience analyzing large datasets.
• Proficiency in validating ETL/ELT processes and working with layered architectures.
• English: Advanced (C1) level required for effective communication with global teams.
• Location: Must be based in Montevideo, Uruguay.
