What you will do

• Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with other teams.
• Establish data quality standards, metrics, and monitoring processes using automated tools and manual checks.
• Investigate root causes of data issues and develop processes for efficient data validation.
• Build automated test frameworks for data platform services, including regression, functional, integration, and load testing.
• Articulate issues to BI developers, data engineers, and analysts in meetings and standups.
• Triage production issues, provide test coverage metrics, and suggest process improvements.
• Mentor teams on data quality best practices and promote development process enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Science or Information Systems or 3+ years experience with corporate data management in high-compliance contexts
• 3+ years writing complex SQL on large customer data sets
• High proficiency in relational or non-relational databases
• Knowledge of industry data compliance strategies like continuous integration, regression testing, and versioning
• Familiarity with Big Data environments and large diverse data sets
• Experience with BI projects and strong scripting in any language
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
