What you will do

• Design and implement automated data validation strategies for large-scale Big Data platforms.
• Own end-to-end data testing frameworks to improve system stability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Big Data engineers and stakeholders to validate data transformations and processing logic.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python, Spark, and SQL.
• Perform deep data analysis to identify inconsistencies and quality issues across large datasets.
• Mentor QA engineers and promote automation-first practices and technical leadership.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in automated testing with a strong automation-first focus.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Big Data concepts, architectures, and ecosystems.
• 2+ years of practical experience with Apache Spark for validating data pipelines.
• 4+ years of experience with advanced SQL for complex data validation and analysis.
• 4+ years of commercial Python experience building scalable test frameworks.
• English: Upper-intermediate proficiency required for collaboration with distributed teams.
• Location: Must be based in Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Databricks and Azure-based data platforms.
