Integration Technician

TL;DR

Integration Technician (Broadcast): Construct and refurbish mobile units and related projects at the Systems Integration Facility, ensuring client needs are met and equipment operates to NEP standards. Focus on translating technical drawings into cable pulling, installation, equipment integration, functionality testing, and connector fabrication.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (onsite)

What you will do

• Read and understand floor plans, rack elevations, signal flow diagrams, and jack field layouts.
• Translate drawings into cable pulling, preparation, and installation in mobile units and projects.
• Install cables, panels, and equipment to form fully functional systems.
• Test functionality of fabrication and installation work.
• Fabricate connectors for all required cable types in mobile units.

Requirements

• Must have valid Driver’s License and be reliable, willing to work 40+ hours/week including weekends as needed.
• Associates or Technical Degree preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
• Experience working with broadcast equipment and technology.
• Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast technology, equipment, and facilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage simultaneous projects.
• Experience with basic hand tools is a plus; prior wiring experience helpful but training provided.
