What you will do

• Administer and operate VMware Tanzu GemFire / Apache Geode platforms, including configuration and maintenance of distributed memory data grid clusters.
• Configure and manage GemFire clusters, handling regions, replication, partitioning, and backend integrations.
• Support mission-critical applications with high availability and low latency requirements.
• Monitor platform health, analyze performance, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues within SLAs.
• Manage platform lifecycle: patching, upgrades, resilience enhancements, and documentation with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years administering VMware Tanzu GemFire / Apache Geode or similar in-memory data grids.
• Strong knowledge of distributed in-memory databases for high-performance, low-latency apps.
• Hands-on with GemFire cluster config: regions, replication, partitioning, failover.
• Production support experience: monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, SLA adherence.
• Platform availability, resilience, recovery, patching, upgrades.
• Intermediate English for documentation and global collaboration.
