Working Student Baseband Software Testing and Integration: Support NR Signaling Stack CI/CD improvements and participate in the design of new CI/CD processes with an accent on implementation and integration of build frameworks, virtual UEs, and Open RAN devices. Focus on enhancing testing pipelines, automating integrations, and applying DevOps practices in a test and measurement environment.

Location: Main place of work in Munich (Germany), mobile working possible. You must be properly enrolled as a student.

What you will do

• Support improvements to NR Signaling Stack CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in designing a new CI/CD process.
• Assist in implementing and integrating a new build framework.
• Assist in integrating virtual UEs and Open RAN devices.

Requirements

• Academic studies in computer science, informatics, electrical engineering or comparable fields.
• Good proficiency using AI (Copilot, agents) for development and basic understanding of AI/ML concepts.
• Good proficiency in Python and know-how on C++.
• Fair understanding of Conan, CMake, and static code analysis tools like SonarQube.
• Good command of spoken and written English and/or German.
• Ability to work independently with strong sense of ownership.
• Properly enrolled student for the duration of employment, up to 20 hours per week during lecture period.
