What you will do

• Design and build high-throughput, low-latency services using Java and Spring Boot targeting 99.99%+ availability.
• Implement RESTful/gRPC/event-driven APIs for payment initiation, callbacks, reconciliation, and settlement.
• Build fault-tolerant systems with circuit breakers, retries, idempotency, and observability including logging, tracing, metrics.
• Develop core components of payout, card processing, FX systems, and AI agent orchestration from greenfield.
• Contribute React frontend for internal tooling, dashboards, and merchant interfaces.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, Docker/EKS deployment, and ensure PCI DSS compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years backend engineering with deep Java/Spring Boot expertise (MVC, Data, Security)
• Experience building high-availability distributed payment/financial systems with idempotency, reconciliation, settlement.
• Relational DBs (PostgreSQL/MySQL), messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ), container deployment (Docker/K8s/EKS), CI/CD.
• PCI DSS compliant design, secure coding, audit logging.
• Strong communication for globally distributed teams.
• Bachelor's in CS/Engineering or equivalent; regulated financial/payments experience preferred.

• Bloomberg FX feeds (BFIX/B-PIPE) or real-time FX integration.
• FX/treasury/multi-currency settlement background.
