What you will do

• Drive the design and implementation of the hirify.global Gold core backend system.
• Collaborate with product managers and partner teams to define business and technical requirements.
• Lead technical design reviews and guide the team in solving challenging technical issues.
• Develop high-quality code incorporating rigorous unit and automation testing.
• Lead the migration of legacy systems to a modernized tech stack.
• Mentor the engineering team to prepare for future technical challenges.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Java-based core system design and implementation for E-commerce.
• Proven expertise in building highly scalable and high-availability online systems.
• Deep hands-on experience in JVM tuning, heap dump analysis, and Java profiling.
• Strong knowledge of database systems, specifically PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a similar technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET systems.
