What you will do

• Own and operate core infrastructure components of the internal Data Platform, including containerized services and query engines.
• Design, deploy, and manage services using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure reliability and performance.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks for platform services.
• Develop and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation and service delivery.
• Collaborate on data engineering standards, covering pipeline design, data quality, and lineage.
• Implement data governance practices regarding ownership, access, and observability.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or a related science, technology, or engineering field.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering or data platform engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and columnar data formats internals.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and microservice design patterns.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Kraków, Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with on-prem infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience with C++ or Rust.
• Experience with observability tooling.
