What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data models using DBT.
• Drive DBT best practices, including modularization, testing, and documentation.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient data models.
• Optimize SQL queries and DBT pipelines for maximum performance and scalability.
• Manage deployment workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and version control using Git.
• Mentor and guide team members on modern data engineering practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with DBT (both Core and Cloud).
• Strong proficiency in Jinja templating and creating reusable macros and logic.
• Expertise in DBT materializations: incremental, snapshot, view, table, and ephemeral.
• Experience implementing generic and singular tests and using packages like dbt-utils and Elementary.
• Must be based in Poland.
• Proven experience building and owning data models across the full lifecycle in enterprise environments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS MWAA (Airflow).
• Experience with Amazon Redshift.
• Knowledge of modern data platform tooling.
