What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for player account lifecycles and access management.
• Build and evolve secure authentication and authorization systems for a multi-tenant platform.
• Implement integrations with third-party identity verification providers and regulatory platforms.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, compliance specialists, UX experts, and QA to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Drive API design decisions aligned with security best practices and comprehensive documentation.
• Support production operations through monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Professional experience in backend development with Kotlin or other JVM languages, ideally using Spring Boot or Micronaut.
• Solid understanding of API design principles and experience with microservices or SOA.
• Experience with relational and document databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and Kafka.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization patterns such as OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud platforms.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go for specific services or tooling.
• Exposure to multi-tenant system design and regulatory constraints.
• Background in e-commerce or other regulated digital products.
• Familiarity with KYC processes or compliance-focused systems.
• Frontend experience with Angular.
