What you will do

• Execute rigorous identity verification (KYC) processes and manage the onboarding funnel to minimize friction for legitimate users.
• Perform real-time transaction monitoring and sanctions screening against OFAC, PEP, and internal watchlists.
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and analyze Source of Funds (SOF) for high-risk customers.
• Act as a Tier 3 expert handling complex escalations regarding identity verification and financial risks.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to identify operational gaps and provide qualitative user research insights.
• Deliver empathetic and professional support to customers in both Spanish and English via chat.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in Compliance, Fraud Prevention, or AML Operations, preferably in Fintech or Banking.
• Strong understanding of remittance lifecycles and associated regulatory risks.
• Proficiency in G Suite and experience with identity verification vendors like Persona or Sardine.
• Intermediate/advanced level of English (oral and written).
• Total availability to work rotating shifts (morning/afternoon) and weekends.
• Must be based in Mexico.
