What you will do

• Directly manage and coach two Team Leads, focusing on performance reviews and career development.
• Own KPI accountability and capacity planning based on transaction volume forecasts.
• Audit workflows to identify bottlenecks and partner with Product to automate repetitive compliance tasks.
• Execute high-stakes compliance projects from scoping to post-launch monitoring.
• Act as the primary liaison between Compliance Operations and Legal/Engineering teams.
• Manage partner governance and accountability for external compliance teams like Intermex and Uniteller.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred), Business, or Law.
• Based in Mexico with knowledge of Mexico labor regulations.
• 5+ years in Compliance, Trust & Safety, or Risk Operations, including 2+ years in leadership.
• Deep expertise in AML/KYC and document verification in high-volume environments.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with IDV tools (e.g., Persona) and support platforms.
• English: Upper-Intermediate to Advanced proficiency.
