What you will do

• Design, develop, code, and debug new software or significant enhancements to existing systems.
• Perform high-level studies and evaluations of complex project designs, integrations, and documentation.
• Collaborate with technical staff to resolve software issues and develop detailed specifications.
• Translate functional business application designs into production-ready computer software.
• Prepare comprehensive program-level and user-level documentation.
• Provide technical direction and assistance to subordinate staff.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain U.S. Customs and Border Protection suitability (clear criminal history, no pending bankruptcies).
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in an IT-related field.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with databases, web technologies, e-business, and COTS software interfaces.
