What you will do

• Manage and adapt a global team of security engineers to meet business and program requirements.
• Create and promote standard operating procedures for strategic and operational security roadmaps.
• Integrate risk management principles into new solutions and changes to existing systems and workflows.
• Implement and maintain defensive security technologies such as SIEM, logging, IDS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Ensure system uptime across a diverse range of operating systems and technologies.
• Develop and mentor a diverse group of engineers in cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent certifications (e.g., CISSP, CASP, CIPM).
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience and 2-4 years of people/team management experience.
• Must be based in the United States (specifically California, Illinois, Texas, Michigan, or Maryland).
• Proficiency in diagnosing root causes with AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) and security tooling (SIEM, IAM/PAM).
• Deep knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Firewalls) and various OS (Windows, Linux, MacOS).
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, or AWS Lambda.

Nice to have

• Technology-specific certifications in AWS, Windows, Linux, Tenable, Zscaler, or CrowdStrike.
• Agile Project Management Certification (CSM, CSD).
