What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and operational support of enterprise network and network security solutions.
• Architect secure and scalable infrastructures aligned with business, security, and compliance requirements.
• Design and maintain software-defined networking (SDN) environments using Cisco ACI and VMware NSX.
• Implement and manage network security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and WAF solutions.
• Drive standardization and automation of network configuration, deployment, and operational processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers while acting as an escalation point for critical incidents.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of relevant experience in enterprise network engineering and design.
• Must be based in Mexico (MX).
• Advanced expertise in routers, switches, spine-leaf architectures, and load balancers.
• Deep knowledge of Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Cisco Routing & Switching (Nexus, UCS).
• Proficiency with F5 LTM/GTM for traffic management and Cisco ISE for access control.
• Strong experience in creating High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Palo Alto, or F5.
• Scripting skills using Python or PowerShell for network automation.
• Exposure to Cisco WAAS, WCCP, and DevSecOps practices related to networking.
• Experience with hybrid or virtualized network environments.
