What you will do

• Lead the closure of AWS cybersecurity remediation tickets and manage ongoing operations.
• Own the security posture of a multi-account AWS environment.
• Coordinate with global cybersecurity teams to ensure controls remain audit-ready.
• Implement and manage AWS security services including GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, and CloudTrail.
• Oversee network security, encryption, and identity management across the cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or information security.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, etc.).
• Experience leading security remediation in regulated environments like banking, healthcare, or FMCG.
• Expertise in audit frameworks and generating evidence packages (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least one certification: AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or CISSP.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or postgraduate specialization in Cybersecurity.
• Experience with Qualys, EDR/XDR platforms, or IaC security scanning (Checkov, tfsec).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and multi-cloud exposure (GCP or Azure).
• Certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CISM, or OSCP.
