What you will do

• Collaborate on Director’s vision and translate it into art/technical direction.
• Determine technical approach, estimate resources, budgets, schedules for visual effects.
• Monitor progress, direct staff, participate in plate shoots, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Supervise multiple digital effects disciplines and approve work before Director’s review.
• Conduct performance reviews and develop company-wide standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years leading live-action VFX on high-profile feature films.
• Experience leading and mentoring large teams and projects.
• Broad knowledge of 2D/3D software technologies; 3ds Max preferred.
• Strong communication skills, on-set etiquette, and client sensibilities.
• Pro-active problem-solving with creativity and aesthetic respect.
