SMT Repair Operator

What you will do

• Perform disassembly, rework, repair, and reassembly of SMT and through-hole components.
• Inspect assemblies using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and visual inspection per IPC-A-610 standards.
• Execute fine-detail soldering and component rework using microscopes and precision tools.
• Identify and correct defects related to components, soldering, flux, and PCB cleanliness.
• Track work orders and serial numbers using Production Manager (PM) and FactoryLogix (FLx) systems.
• Support other production roles to ensure manufacturing flow and functional verification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an electrical or mechanical manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in fine-pitch soldering and microscopic rework.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.
• Ability to work onsite in Huntsville, AL.
• English: Ability to communicate clearly.
