What you will do

• Establish engineering benchmarks to enhance the testability, observability, and performance of technical solutions.
• Design cross-functional architectures that balance product requirements with rigorous security constraints.
• Lead design reviews and mentor engineers on implementation, testing, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with product partners via lightweight RFCs to drive strategic alignment and influence outcomes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node.js) and modernizing legacy frontend frameworks.
• Proven track record in cloud engineering environments, specifically within AWS ecosystems.
• Deep practical knowledge of secure web development, including OWASP Top 10, Zero Trust, and Least Privilege access.
• Strong communication skills for facilitating cross-team design sessions and mentoring junior engineers.
• Commitment to building highly observable and performant systems with integrated testing and monitoring.
• Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IAM, PAM, IGA, and robust secrets management.
• Experience managing cross-product component governance and unified design languages at scale.
• Familiarity with observability tools, feature flagging, and progressive delivery in CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in load and stress testing using tools like JMeter.
• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, or SOC2).
• Fluency in TypeScript, RxJS, Signals, and testing frameworks like Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
